I was looking for a Wetherby based physiotherapist and a wider programme to build strength in my knee and the rest of my body and, in general, to defeat the ageing process!! Desperate to avoid adding to the ‘elderly falls’ statistics, I found myself committing to a personal training programme in the downstairs gym. My initial fears that I might find an intimidating ’all male’ environment were unfounded and everyone was friendly, encouraging and supportive. The added benefits of having one-to-one personal trainer are immediately obvious. It means you do the exercises correctly and are continually increasing your effort which leads to early results! The best thing was the noticeable improvement in my strength and balance within the first few weeks.
